This was freelance cartoon illustration done in traditional media (pen and ink) that I did for DirtRag Magazine back in the early 2000s. Good bunch of guys at DirtRag. Freelance gigs didn’t pay much, but fun.
The cartoon illustrations were penciled and inked on vellum paper. Then scanned. Then outlined and color rendered in Illustrator. On occasion, I’d drop the illustration into Photoshop for more color or effects rendering.
